Don Buford Autographs
Don Buford was born on February 2, 1937, in Linden, Texas. He was an outstanding baseball player known for his excellent performance on the field. Buford started his professional career with the Chicago White Sox in 1963 and later moved to Baltimore Orioles in 1968. He played as an outfielder and second baseman for both the teams. Buford played a crucial role in winning the 1969 American League Championship for the Orioles. He was also awarded the World Series title with the Orioles in 1970.
Buford had a productive batting career, with a career batting average of .277. His skills on the field were not only limited to his batting, but he was also an exceptional baserunner and fielder. He was known for his speed, agility, and quick reflexes, which helped him to make unmissable catches in the outfield. Buford's ability to switch-hit made him a valuable asset to his team. He was also known for being a clutch hitter and came up big in high-pressure situations.
After retiring as a player, Buford continued his association with the game as a coach and commentator. He coached at the college level for several years and eventually moved into broadcasting.
