Don Buford was born on February 2, 1937, in Linden, Texas. He was an outstanding baseball player known for his excellent performance on the field. Buford started his professional career with the Chicago White Sox in 1963 and later moved to Baltimore Orioles in 1968. He played as an outfielder and second baseman for both the teams.
