Doug Flynn, born in April 1951, is a former Major League Baseball player. He made his debut for the Cincinnati Reds in 1975 and went on to play for several teams, including the New York Mets, Texas Rangers, and Montreal Expos. Flynn's baseball career began in high school, where he played for Lexington Catholic in his native Kentucky. He then attended the University of Kentucky, where he played baseball and basketball. After being drafted by the Reds in 1971, he spent several years in the minor leagues before making his Major League debut in 1975.
