Drew Pomeranz is a professional baseball player who was born on November 22, 1988, in Memphis, Tennessee. Pomeranz attended the University of Mississippi where he played college baseball and was a member of the Ole Miss Rebels. He was then drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the first round of the 2010 MLB Draft, with the fifth overall pick.
