Dylan Cease Autographs
Dylan Cease is an American professional baseball player who was born on December 28, 1995, in Milton, Georgia. He is a right-handed pitcher who currently plays for the Chicago White Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). Cease began his baseball career at Milton High School, where he was a standout player. He then committed to play college baseball at Vanderbilt University but later decided to sign with the Chicago Cubs after being selected in the sixth round of the 2014 MLB draft.
Cease made his professional debut in 2015 with the Arizona League Cubs, where he had an impressive start to his career. In his first year, he recorded a 2.22 ERA with 44 strikeouts and only 12 walks in 24.1 innings pitched. He continued to impress as he moved up the minor league ranks, playing for the South Bend Cubs in 2016 and the Myrtle Beach Pelicans in 2017. His performance earned him a promotion to Double-A in 2018, where he pitched for the Tennessee Smokies.
In 2019, Cease was traded to the Chicago White Sox, where he made his MLB debut in July of the same year. Though he struggled in his first few starts, he began to show signs of improvement towards the end of the season. In 2020, he solidified his place in the White Sox starting rotation, finishing the season with a 4-2 record and a 4.01 ERA in 12 starts. Cease continues to work on improving his game and looks to be a key player for the White Sox in the years to come.
