Ed Brinkman was born on December 6, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was an American professional baseball player who played as shortstop for the Washington Senators from 1961 to 1970. Brinkman was known for his extraordinary fielding skills and was awarded the Gold Glove Award, which recognizes the best fielders in Major League Baseball.
