Enos Cabell Autographs
Enos Cabell is a retired American professional baseball player born on October 8, 1949, in Fort Riley, Kansas. He is best known for his career with the Houston Astros, where he played from 1975 to 1980, and then again from 1984 to 1985. Cabell was a solid offensive player and a versatile infielder who could play at first, second, or third base.
Cabell started his professional baseball career in 1972 when he was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles. He spent his first few seasons in the minor leagues before making his major league debut in 1974. He was then traded to the Houston Astros the following year, where he quickly established himself as a starter. Throughout his career, Cabell was known for his consistency at the plate, finishing his career with a batting average of .277, 759 runs batted in, and 1,921 hits.
After his retirement from baseball, Cabell remained involved in the sport as an assistant coach and later as a director of player development for the San Francisco Giants. He was also recognized with several awards throughout his career, including the Hutch Award, given to players who demonstrate courage and dedication both on and off the field.
