Eric Duncan Autographs
Eric Duncan was an American professional baseball player born on December 7, 1984, in Florham Park, New Jersey. He was a star right-handed baseman who enjoyed a successful high school career in Seton Hall Preparatory School. After a standout high school career, the New York Yankees drafted him in the first round of the 2003 Major League Baseball (MLB) draft.
During his first season in professional baseball, Eric Duncan won the Single A South Atlantic League championship with the Charleston RiverDogs in 2004. He was also named the team’s Most Valuable Player for the season. He went on to play in the US Minor Leagues for six seasons, earning several significant awards, including the Arizona Fall League Most Valuable Player award in 2005. Despite his excellent performances in the minor leagues, he never played at the major league level, retiring from baseball in 2013.
Eric Duncan's baseball career serves as proof of his talent and devotion to the game. With six seasons playing in the US Minor Leagues, he may not have achieved the goal of playing in the major leagues, but he still boasts an impressive resume. Over the course of his career, he amassed 80 home runs, drove in 360 runs, and finished off with an impressive batting average of .256. Even after he retired, Eric Duncan remained heavily involved in baseball, serving as the assistant hitting coach for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders, the Yankees' triple-A team, and he is regarded as one of the best coaches in the game today.
