Eric Stults is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who was born in South Jordan, Utah, on December 9, 1979. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 15th round of the 2002 MLB draft after attending Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana, and made his major league debut for the Dodgers as a starting pitcher on September 11, 2006. During his ten-year career in the major leagues, Stults played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Colorado Rockies, San Diego Padres, Atlanta Braves, and the Hiroshima Toyo Carp of the Nippon Professional Baseball League. He was primarily used as a starting pitcher and accumulated a career record of 47-61 with a 4.68 earned run average (ERA) and 556 strikeouts in 896 innings pitched.

Stults received several accolades throughout his career, including being named the National League Pitcher of the Month in May 2014 while playing for the San Diego Padres. He also helped lead the Hiroshima Toyo Carp to a Central League championship during the 2016 season.
