Garrett Richards is a former American professional baseball pitcher born on May 27, 1988, in Riverside, California. He attended the University of Oklahoma, where he played college baseball for the Oklahoma Sooners. In 2009, he was selected by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 42nd round of the MLB draft.
