Gary Ward is a retired American baseball outfielder who played for several teams in the Major League Baseball (MLB) during his career. Born on December 6, 1953, in Los Angeles, California, Ward attended the University of Minnesota where he played college baseball for the Golden Gophers. He played briefly in the minor league before debuting for the Minnesota Twins in 1979.
