George Brunet Autographs

George Brunet was a professional baseball player who was born on June 8, 1935, in Hilo, Hawaii. He played as a left-handed pitcher in the Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1956 to 1971. Brunet began his baseball career playing in the minor leagues for several years before being called up by the Baltimore Orioles in 1956. He played for various teams during his major league career, including the Baltimore Orioles, Houston Colt .45s, California Angels, and Milwaukee Brewers. With an impressive record of 69-71, Brunet was considered one of the best left-handed pitchers of his time.
Brunet's career highlights included being the first player to be traded to the newly established Houston Colt .45s, which later became the Houston Astros. He also had a no-hitter game in 1963 while playing for the Angels against the Boston Red Sox. Brunet was known for his pitching accuracy with a high percentage of strikes thrown. He played an essential role in the success of various teams and was considered a reliable pitcher by all who played with him.
Brunet retired from baseball in 1971 after playing for 15 years in the Major League.
