Georges Niang Autographs

Georges Niang is an American basketball player who currently plays for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born on June 17, 1993, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and started playing basketball at a young age. Niang played high school basketball at the Tilton School in New Hampshire, where he was named the New England Prep School Class AA Player of the Year in 2012.
Niang's outstanding high school career earned him a scholarship to play college basketball at Iowa State University. He played for the Cyclones from 2012-2016 and was a three-time First-Team All-Big 12 selection. Niang finished his college career as the 8th all-time leading scorer in Iowa State history, with 2,228 points. In 2016, he was selected by the Indiana Pacers in the second round of the NBA draft, but was waived in October of that year. Niang then played for the Pacers' G League affiliate, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, before signing a two-way contract with the Utah Jazz in 2018.
In his first season with the Utah Jazz, Niang played a key role off the bench and helped the team reach the playoffs. He shot an impressive 42.5% from three-point range during the 2020-2021 season, and his ability to stretch the floor makes him a valuable player in the modern NBA. With a career-high of 24 points, Niang has shown that he can be a solid scorer when given the opportunity. As he continues to develop his game, Niang looks poised to have a successful career in the NBA.
