Gino Cimoli was an American professional baseball outfielder who played in Major League Baseball from 1956 to 1965. He was born on December 18, 1929, in San Francisco, California. He started his career with the Oakland Oaks of the Pacific Coast League in 1951 and impressed enough to earn a call-up to the major leagues with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1956. Gino became a regular player in the outfield for Brooklyn that year and would have a career-best .293 batting average with 10 home runs and 62 runs batted in. More about Gino Cimoli

Cimoli went on to play for the Milwaukee Braves, St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Kansas City Athletics during his playing days. After leaving the Dodgers, he spent the next several seasons bouncing around the league before finally settling with the Pirates in 1960. He played a key role in Pittsburgh's World Series championship season in that year, hitting .267 with six home runs and 37 RBIs in 111 games.
