Conger began his baseball career in high school, where he was named the Washington State Gatorade Player of the Year in 2006. Conger made his major league debut on September 11, 2010, for the Los Angeles Angels. Throughout his career, Conger was known for his catching abilities, his speed, and his powerful arm. He was also a valuable asset offensively, scoring runs, and driving in runs through strategic batting. He achieved his best season during the 2014 season, hitting .221 with four home runs and 25 runs batted in while playing for the Houston Astros.

In June 2018, Conger announced his retirement from professional baseball after suffering a string of injuries that hindered his performance on the field. Despite his early retirement, Conger’s career achievements are still notable, including a .221 batting average, 19 home runs, and 81 runs batted in throughout his professional career.
