Harry Kalas Autographs
Harry Kalas was an iconic baseball broadcaster who became one of the most recognizable voices of Philadelphia Phillies baseball. Born in 1936 in Naperville, Illinois, Kalas grew up with an early interest in performance and public speaking. After graduating from the University of Iowa, he began his broadcasting career as a sports reporter for WICC in Bridgeport, Connecticut. In 1965, Kalas joined the Phillies broadcasting team, and over the next four decades, he became the voice of the team. His memorable calls of some of the Phillies' most important games and plays will forever mark his place in baseball history.
Kalas had a long and distinguished career as a baseball broadcaster. He was known for his deep, resonant voice that conveyed a sense of enthusiasm and excitement. In addition to baseball, he also covered other sports, including football and basketball. He was also known for his work with NFL Films, lending his voice to highlight films and special features about great players and teams.
