Hisanori Takahashi Autographs
Hisanori Takahashi is a former professional baseball player from Japan. He was born on April 2, 1975 in Tokyo, Japan. Takahashi made his debut as a pitcher for the Yomiuri Giants in 1999, where he spent the majority of his career until 2008. He was known for his impressive fastball, slider and changeup, and was considered one of the best pitchers in Japan during his prime.
In 2010, Takahashi signed with the New York Mets, becoming the first player from Japan to play for the team. He was primarily used as a reliever, but also made some starts during the season. He finished the year with a 10-6 record, a 3.61 ERA and 114 strikeouts in 122 innings pitched. Takahashi's performance earned him a spot on the National League All-Star team that year, becoming the first Japanese-born Met to achieve this honor. He continued to play for major league teams until his retirement in 2015, last playing for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp.
Overall, Takahashi enjoyed a successful baseball career, with over 150 wins and 1600 strikeouts in his professional career. He was known for his consistency on the mound and his ability to get hitters out with his deceptive pitches. Although he retired from professional baseball, Takahashi's legacy continues to inspire young baseball players in Japan and around the world.
