J.D. Drew is a former professional baseball player who had a successful career in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on November 20, 1975, in Valdosta, Georgia, and grew up in Hahira. Drew made his MLB debut with the Cardinals in 1998 and played with them for three years. In 2001, he was traded to the Atlanta Braves and played with them for two years. In 2004, Drew signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers as a free agent and had some of his best years with the team. He was chosen as an All-Star in 2006 and helped the Dodgers reach the playoffs.
