Fisher's best season came in 1960 while playing for the Orioles when he won seven games and had an ERA of 2.90. However, it was his time with the Giants that made him a household name. He went on to win 14 games in both 1962 and 1963 and helped lead the Giants to the World Series in 1962. Fisher pitched in two games during the series and had an impressive ERA of 1.35. Despite losing to the New York Yankees in a seven-game series, Fisher had established himself as a top pitcher in the league.

After his time with the Giants, Fisher played for several other teams including the New York Mets and the Chicago White Sox. He finished his career in 1969 with a record of 86-139 and an ERA of 4.06. Despite not having a winning record, Fisher's contributions to the Giants' World Series run in 1962 and his consistency as a starter made him a respected player among his peers. Today, he remains a beloved figure in baseball history. Read even more about Jack Fisher at Wikipedia
