Jason Dickson Autographs
Jason Dickson is a former Canadian professional baseball player who played pitcher for the Anaheim Angels from 1996 to 2000. Born on March 30, 1973, in London, Ontario, Dickson started playing baseball at a young age and joined his school's team where he quickly showed his talent on the mound. After high school, he played for the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and then transferred to the University of Arizona where he was a two-time All-American.
In 1994, Dickson was drafted in the 6th round of the Major League Baseball draft by the California Angels. He worked his way up the ranks of the minor leagues and in 1996, he made his Major League debut. That same year, he had an impressive rookie season, finishing with a record of 13-9, an ERA of 3.42 and 128 strikeouts.
In 1997, he was named the Angels' Pitcher of the Year after winning 15 games and setting a record for most strikeouts by a rookie in Angels history. However, Dickson's promising career was cut short due to injuries and he retired from baseball in 2004. Today, he is a baseball coach and broadcaster and continues to inspire young players with his passion and dedication to the sport.
