Jerry Adair Autograph

Jerry Adair was born on December 17th, 1936, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and grew up with a passion for baseball. After high school, he signed with the Baltimore Orioles in 1958 and spent the majority of his career playing second base. He was known for his athleticism and was one of the best fielders in the league. Adair was also known for his versatility and often played several positions, including shortstop and third base. In 1966, he had one of his best seasons, hitting .254 with 10 home runs and 58 RBIs. He also played a key role in the Orioles World Series win against the Los Angeles Dodgers that year, hitting two home runs in the series.

In 1970, Adair was traded to the Chicago White Sox and played his final season there before retiring in 1971. He finished his career with a .254 batting average, 57 home runs, and 386 RBIs. After retiring from baseball, Adair returned to his hometown of Sand Springs and worked as a real estate agent.
