He spent the majority of his career with the Athletics, but also played for the Toronto Blue Jays, Milwaukee Brewers, and Florida Marlins before retiring in 1999. Over the course of his career, Corsi amassed a 3.76 ERA, 38 saves, and 296 strikeouts.

Despite being a middle reliever for much of his career, Corsi played a crucial role in the Athletics' success during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was a member of the team's bullpen during their 1989 World Series championship season and earned a reputation as a reliable pitcher who could be counted on in high-pressure situations. Corsi's consistent performance and unwavering commitment to his craft make him one of the most respected players of his era.
