Davis not focused on HRs or Cabrera, but he received email from Jim Gentile (08/29/13): First baseman received a congratulatory email from Jim Gentile Chris Davis, who was born in Texas 25 years after Gentile's greatest season in Baltimore, admitted he knew very little about Diamond Jim's exploits in the early 1960s. But Gentile sent an email to the Orioles -- which was forwarded to Davis -- the day after Davis tied Gentile on the franchise list.
