In 1962, Pepitone made his debut for the New York Yankees and quickly became one of their star players. He was a first baseman and outfielder, and his versatility on the field made him a valuable asset to the team. He played in three World Series with the Yankees, winning two championships in 1962 and 1963. He also won a Gold Glove Award in 1965 for his excellent defensive skills.

Pepitone was known for his flamboyant personality and his love for nightlife. He often clashed with the team's management and was traded to other teams, including the Houston Astros, Chicago Cubs, and Atlanta Braves. Despite his controversies off the field, he was a talented player with a .258 career batting average, 219 home runs, and 707 runs batted in (RBIs). After retiring from baseball, Pepitone made various media appearances and wrote an autobiography titled "Joe Pepitone: Joe, You Coulda Made Us Proud." Read even more about Joe Pepitone at Wikipedia
