Joe Price was born on November 29, 1956, in Inglewood, California. He was a left-handed pitcher who played in Major League Baseball from 1980 to 1990. Price was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the first round of the 1978 Major League Baseball Draft. He made his major league debut on September 15, 1980, and played for the Reds until 1985 when he was traded to the San Francisco Giants.
