Johnny Callison was an American professional baseball player, born on March 12, 1939, in Oklahoma. He started his baseball career in 1958 after being signed by the Chicago White Sox as an amateur free agent. In 1960, he made his major league debut with the team, playing in only 28 games. Callison played as an outfielder for the Phillies, and he became a crucial member of the team through the 1960s.
