Jose Offerman is a former Major League Baseball player who was born on November 8, 1968, in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic. He was a switch-hitting shortstop who played for almost 15 years in the MLB. Offerman started his career with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1990 and played for several other teams after that, including the Kansas City Royals, Boston Red Sox, Seattle Mariners, New York Mets, and others.
