Julio Zuleta Autographs
Julio Zuleta was born on March 28th, 1975 in Panama City, Panama. He started playing baseball when he was just five years old, and by the age of 15, he had already joined various baseball teams in Panama. In 1993, he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Chicago Cubs, and thus began his professional baseball career.
Zuleta made his Major League debut in 2000 with the Chicago Cubs. In his first full season, he appeared in 76 games, batting .297 with 15 home runs and 50 RBI. Zuleta was known for his power-hitting abilities and proved to be a valuable asset for the Cubs. In 2002, he played in Japan for the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks, where he continued to play at a high level. He returned to the Major Leagues in 2003 with the Cubs but was later traded to the Colorado Rockies.
Throughout his professional career, Zuleta played for various teams in the United States, Japan, and Korea. He was known for his ability to hit for power and played as a first baseman and a designated hitter. Overall, he had a successful baseball career and continues to be remembered as a talented player.
