Junichi Tazawa Autographs
Junichi Tazawa is a former professional baseball pitcher from Japan. He was born on June 6, 1986, in Yokohama City, Kanagawa, Japan. He started playing baseball at a young age and was scouted by the Boston Red Sox in 2008.
Tazawa's professional baseball career started in 2009 when he signed with the Boston Red Sox as an undrafted free agent. He made his major league debut on August 7, 2009, and quickly showed his potential as a pitcher. He played for the Red Sox from 2009 to 2016, and then played for the Miami Marlins for two seasons from 2017 to 2018. During his career, Tazawa played in 379 games, had a 4.12 ERA, and recorded 402 strikeouts.
Although Tazawa retired from professional baseball in 2020, his contribution to the sport has been significant. He holds the record for the most innings pitched by a Japanese pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB) history without giving up a home run. He was also a part of the Red Sox team that won the World Series in 2013. Tazawa's passion and dedication for baseball have inspired many young players, and his legacy as a pitcher will always be remembered.
