In 1961, Ken Berry was drafted by the Chicago White Sox and made his major league debut in 1962. He quickly became a standout player, known for his excellent defense in the outfield and his impressive speed on the basepaths. He spent six seasons with the White Sox, earning a Gold Glove award in 1970 for his defensive prowess. In 1967, he was also selected to the American League All-Star team.

After leaving the White Sox, Ken Berry played for several other teams, including the California Angels, Milwaukee Brewers, and Cleveland Indians. He retired from professional baseball in 1975, after playing in over 1,300 games and accumulating a career batting average of .255. Throughout his career, he was admired for his athleticism, work ethic, and sportsmanship. Ken Berry passed away on December 1, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving behind a legacy as a talented and beloved baseball player.
