Kenley Jansen Autographs
Kenley Jansen was born on September 30, 1987, in Willemstad, Curacao. He began his career in baseball as a catcher, but a move to the pitcher position brought him to stardom. Jansen was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2004 as a free agent, during which time he played for the Gulf Coast Dodgers and the Ogden Raptors. It wasn't until 2010 that he made his major league debut, and he has been a dominant force on the mound ever since.
Jansen is known for his dominant fastball, cutter, and sinker pitches. His impressive fastball hits the mid to high 90s, and his cutter regularly reaches speeds of 92-94 mph. Jansen's ability to generate movement on the ball has led to countless strikeouts, with a career total of over 960. He has played in three All-Star games and won the National League Reliever of the Year Award twice, in 2016 and 2017.
Jansen has been a vital player for the Dodgers, playing an important role in their appearances in the World Series in 2017 and 2018. He has been a consistent closer for the team, helping to secure their victories with his pitching prowess. Despite some setbacks and health scares, Jansen continues to be a top player in the league and is sure to remain a key player for the Dodgers in the coming seasons.
