Kolten Wong Autographs
Kolten Wong is a professional baseball player from Hawaii. He was born on October 10, 1990, in Hilo, Hawaii. Wong grew up playing baseball in Hawaii, where he excelled in high school and earned a scholarship to play at the University of Hawaii. He played for the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors from 2009 to 2011 before being drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the first round of the 2011 MLB draft.
Wong made his Major League Baseball debut with the Cardinals on August 16, 2013. He played in 32 games during the 2013 season, batting .153 with one home run and five RBIs. The following season, Wong played in 113 games, batting .249 with 12 home runs and 42 RBIs. He continued to improve in the following years and became a key player for the Cardinals. In 2019, Wong won his first Gold Glove award for his outstanding defensive play at second base. He also had a career-high 11 home runs and 59 RBIs that season.
Wong was with the Cardinals for eight seasons before becoming a free agent in 2020. He signed a two-year, $18 million contract with the Milwaukee Brewers in February 2021. Wong has had a successful career thus far, batting .262 with 58 home runs and 294 RBIs in 885 games as of 2021. He is known for his defensive prowess and speed on the base paths, with 71 stolen bases in his career. As a versatile player who can play multiple positions, Wong continues to be a valuable asset to his team.
