Kyle Farnsworth Autographs
Kyle Farnsworth is an American former professional baseball pitcher who made his Major League Baseball debut on April 9, 1999, pitching for the Chicago Cubs. Farnsworth was born in Texas in 1976 and graduated from Milton-Union High School in Ohio. As a high school student, he played baseball, football, and basketball. Upon graduation, Farnsworth signed with the Cubs as an amateur free agent.
Over his 16-year MLB career, Farnsworth played for nine different teams, including the Cubs, Detroit Tigers, Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees, and Tampa Bay Rays. Farnsworth was known for his fastball, which could reach speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. He regularly struck out opposing batters, and his ability to pitch in high-pressure situations made him a valuable asset to his teams.
Farnsworth's best season was in 2008 while playing for the New York Yankees, where he pitched 57 innings and had a 2.98 ERA. He retired in 2015 with a career record of 43-63, 4.26 ERA, and 944 strikeouts. Today, Farnsworth is known for his work as a bull rider and runs a cattle farm in Georgia. However, his impact on Major League Baseball will not be forgotten any time soon.
