Chisenhall attended West Carter High School in Olive Hill, Kentucky, where he played for the school’s baseball team, displaying excellent baseball tactics during games. He was even selected as the “KHSAA Commonwealth Gridiron Bowl” baseball most valuable player (MVP) in 2006, boosting his confidence and passion for the sport.
Chisenhall's professional baseball career began with the Cleveland Indians after he got drafted in the first round in 2008. He spent a majority of his time with the Cleveland Indians before joining the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2018, where he played in the team's outfield. His peak performance during the 2014 season helped the Cleveland Indians reach the wild card game and even win against the Tampa Bay Rays. Chisenhall then hit back-to-back home runs, becoming the face of the Indian's win during that season.
Throughout his baseball career, Chisenhall has played in several positions, making him a valuable asset to various teams. He achieved successful stats, such as a batting average of .268 and 64 home runs in his professional career.
