Mark Appel Autographs
Mark Appel was born on July 15, 1991, in Houston, Texas. Growing up, he was always passionate about baseball, and he played for the Stanford Cardinal college baseball team during his college years. The talented pitcher was the number one overall pick in the 2013 Major League Baseball draft, where he was selected by the Houston Astros.
Appel's professional baseball career didn't start as he expected, and he spent five years in the minor leagues, where he struggled to find consistency. In 2017, he decided to take a step back from baseball and take a break to reevaluate his life. Later that year, he returned to the minor leagues with a fresh mindset and improved mechanics, and he started to have some success. Appel's strong pitching performances eventually earned him a promotion to the Triple-A level, but unfortunately, his promising career was put on hold in 2018 due to elbow surgery.
Mark Appel is currently still recovering from his elbow surgery, but he remains optimistic about his baseball career. His passion and dedication for the sport have never wavered, and his time away from the game allowed him to gain perspective and work on his mental well-being. Appel's resilience and hard work have been evident throughout his baseball career, and the future holds exciting potential for this talented pitcher.
