Mark Eichhorn Autographs
Mark Eichhorn, born on November 21, 1960, in San Jose, California, is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. He started his career with Toronto Blue Jays in 1982 and played nine seasons with the team. He was drafted in the second round by the Blue Jays in the 1979 Major League Baseball draft.
Eichhorn's performance as a rookie for Blue Jays was spectacular, with an ERA of 1.72 and a record of 14-6 in 1986. He pitched in 157 games for the Blue Jays, 9 of which he started, and compiled a career record of 30-28 with an ERA of 3.41. He was known for his unique delivery style, which included a high leg kick and tricky arm angles. Eichhorn also had a reputation for having a reliable change-up.
After his tenure with the Blue Jays, Eichhorn went on to play for several other teams, including California Angels, Milwaukee Brewers, Baltimore Orioles, and Texas Rangers. His best season was with the Orioles in 1992, where he finished with an ERA of 1.98 and a record of 5-4. He retired from baseball in 1996 with a career record of 66–48 with a 3.67 ERA in 561 games. Mark Eichhorn was a solid pitcher during his baseball career, and his unique delivery style and excellent change-up made him a memorable player in Blue Jays history.
