Marty Brennaman is a legendary sports broadcaster, best known for his 46-year stint as a play-by-play announcer for the Cincinnati Reds. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia in 1942, Brennaman developed a love for sports and broadcasting at a young age. He was inducted into the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association Hall of Fame in 1999 and the Reds Hall of Fame in 2005. He also received the Ford C. Frick Award from the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000, cementing his status as one of the greatest baseball broadcasters of all time. Brennaman retired from broadcasting in September 2019, leaving a lasting legacy in the world of baseball.
