Matt Beaty Autographs
Matt Beaty is an American professional baseball player who was born on April 28, 1993, in Snellville, Georgia. His baseball journey began when he was in high school. He was an outfielder, first baseman, and pitcher for his high school team, and his impressive performances attracted the attention of college scouts.
After graduating, Beaty decided to continue his baseball career at Belmont Abbey College. In his freshman year, he was named Freshman of the Year in Conference Carolinas. In his senior year, he led the team with a .444 batting average, 109 hits, and 89 runs batted in. Due to his exceptional performances, Beaty was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 12th round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft.
He spent several years playing in the Dodgers' minor league system. In 2019, he was called up to the major league roster and made his debut on April 30, 2019, against the San Francisco Giants. In his rookie year, he played 99 games with the Dodgers, batting .265 with 9 home runs and 46 runs batted in. Beaty has continued to play for the Dodgers and has become a valuable part of their team, playing in both the infield and outfield positions.
