Michael Kopech Autographs
Michael Kopech is an American professional baseball pitcher, born on April 30, 1996, in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Kopech attended Mount Pleasant High School, where he played both football and baseball. However, his love for baseball eventually led him to pursue it professionally. In the 2014 Major League Baseball draft, he was selected in the first round, 33rd overall, by the Boston Red Sox.
Kopech made his professional debut in 2015 with the Greenville Drive, a Class A affiliate of the Red Sox. He impressed both his team and league scouts with his fastball speeds of over 100 mph, which earned him the title of the fastest pitcher in the Red Sox system. Kopech continued to advance through the ranks quickly and made his debut in the major leagues on August 21, 2018, with the Chicago White Sox. Unfortunately, his MLB debut was cut short due to an injury that required Tommy John surgery, resulting in him missing the entire 2019 season.
In the current 2021 season, after a few injuries and setbacks, Kopech has returned to the mound, showcasing his significant potential. He continues to throw fastballs at remarkable speeds and has become a reliable pitcher for the White Sox, especially in the bullpen. Kopech's baseball career has been impressive and remains on the rise, earning him a bright future ahead in the field of baseball.
