Mike Fiers is a professional baseball player who has played in the Major League Baseball (MLB) as a pitcher since 2011. Fiers was born in Hollywood, Florida in 1985, and attended Deerfield Beach High School. After graduating, he went on to pitch for Broward Community College for two years before transferring to Nova Southeastern University. Fiers made his MLB debut in 2011 with the Brewers, and went on to pitch for the team until 2015. In that time, he established himself as a solid pitcher, earning a 4.00 ERA and a 32-29 record. After his time with the Brewers, Fiers was traded to the Houston Astros, where he played from 2015 to 2017. It was during his time with the Astros that Fiers pitched his first no-hitter on August 21, 2015. He finished his Astros career with a 4.54 ERA and a 22-23 record.

After his time with the Astros, Fiers played for the Detroit Tigers and Oakland Athletics, where he currently plays. Fiers has been a consistent and reliable pitcher throughout his career, earning the respect of his peers and fans. He has recorded over 1,000 strikeouts and has a career ERA of 3.90.
