Mike Zagurski Autographs
Mike Zagurski is a former American professional baseball pitcher, born October 27th, 1983, in Omaha, Nebraska. He played college baseball at the University of Kansas before being drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 12th round of the 2005 MLB draft. Zagurski would spend five seasons bouncing between the major and minor leagues, appearing in 89 games for the Phillies over that time, recording a 6.82 ERA.
After his stint with the Phillies, Zagurski signed with the New York Yankees and spent part of the 2011 season in their minor league system. In 2012, he was released by the Yankees and signed a minor league deal with the Oakland Athletics. Zagurski spent the majority of the 2012 season in the minors before being called up in September, where he appeared in two games, giving up no runs in 1.1 innings pitched.
From 2013 to 2015, Zagurski played in the U.S, Venezuela, Taiwan, and Japan. In 2016, he signed with the Milwaukee Brewers for the 2016 season. After being released by the Brewers in July, he signed a minor league contract with the Kansas City Royals. Zagurski retired from baseball after the 2017 season and ended his career with a 7-0 record, a 7.05 ERA, and 95 strikeouts over 94 innings pitched in the major leagues.
