Mitch Nay Autographs
Mitch Nay was born on March 20, 1993, in Chandler, Arizona, and is an American professional baseball player. He played high school baseball at Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona. In 2012, he was a first-round pick of the Toronto Blue Jays in the Major League Baseball (MLB) draft. He began his career in the Blue Jays' minor league system, where he played for several years before being traded to the Cincinnati Reds in 2017.
Nay is known for his impressive hitting skills and his ability to play multiple positions. He has played primarily third base and first base during his career but has also played in the outfield. Nay had his best season in 2016 while playing for the Lansing Lugnuts, the Blue Jays' Single-A affiliate. He hit .264 with 11 home runs, 25 doubles, and 51 RBIs in 105 games. However, his performance has been inconsistent, and he has struggled with injuries throughout his career.
Nay was released by the Reds in 2018 and signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks later that year. He played in the D-backs' minor league system in 2019 but did not appear in any MLB games. Despite the setbacks in his career, Nay remains determined to make it to the big leagues. He continues to work hard to improve his skills and hopes to one day achieve his dream of playing in the MLB.
