Neil Ramirez Autographs
Neil Ramirez is a professional baseball player who played for several Major League Baseball (MLB) teams. He was born on May 25, 1989, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He graduated from Kempsville High School in 2007, where he played baseball and soccer. After high school, he attended the University of Georgia, where he played college baseball for two years before being drafted by the Texas Rangers in the first round of the 2007 MLB draft.
In 2014, Neil Ramirez made his debut for the Texas Rangers and quickly became a valuable player for the team. He spent the majority of his time as a relief pitcher, where he displayed excellent control and a formidable fastball. However, after struggling mechanically and physically, Ramirez was eventually traded to the Chicago Cubs in 2015. There he found his stride, helping the Cubs land their first World Series title in over 100 years. He recorded seven wins and three saves with an ERA of 3.21 for the Cubs over two seasons.
After the Cubs, Ramirez moved on to play for a few more teams before finding a home with the Cleveland Indians in 2018. Unfortunately, injuries derailed his plans, and he was released by Cleveland later that year. Over his career, Ramirez appeared in 161 games, amassing a record of 13-11 with a 4.10 ERA and 234 strikeouts. Despite the ups and downs, Neil Ramirez's dedication, hard work, and passion for baseball are remarkable, and he remains a well-respected player in the eyes of fans and his fellow athletes.
