Pascual Perez was a Dominican professional baseball player who enjoyed a successful career in the Major Leagues. He was born on May 17, 1957, in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic, and signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates as an amateur free agent in 1976. He made his MLB debut in 1980 with the Pirates, but his breakthrough year came in 1983 when he was traded to the Atlanta Braves.
