Paul Kilgus Autographs
Paul Kilgus is a former American professional baseball player who spent eleven seasons in the Major Leagues as a left-handed pitcher. Kilgus was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, in 1962, and played baseball at Franklin-Simpson High School. He joined the Texas Rangers after being drafted in the third round of the 1983 Amateur Draft. Kilgus made his MLB debut in 1987 and played for the Rangers for two seasons before moving on to play for the Chicago Cubs.
Kilgus played for various teams throughout his career, including the St. Louis Cardinals, Milwaukee Brewers, and Baltimore Orioles. He had one of his best seasons in 1991 while playing for the Cubs, where he went 12-6 with a 3.09 ERA in 34 games. Kilgus retired from baseball in 1997 after spending his last few seasons with the Orioles and Pittsburgh Pirates.
Throughout his baseball career, Kilgus recorded a total of 46 wins and 52 losses with a 4.48 ERA. He played in 405 games and had 714 strikeouts. Although Kilgus had his fair share of injuries, he remained a consistent player on the field. Despite retiring from baseball, Kilgus still enjoys being involved in the sport, and continues to participate in various sports activities.
