Paul Quantrill Autographs
Born on November 3, 1968, Paul Quantrill is a former professional baseball player hailing from London, Ontario, Canada. Quantrill had a 14-year career in Major League Baseball, during which he played for eight different teams, including the Boston Red Sox, the New York Yankees, and the Toronto Blue Jays. He was known for his ability to pitch in relief, and his durability made him a valuable asset to any team in need of a reliable arm. Over the course of his career, Quantrill pitched in 841 games, and he recorded a 3.83 ERA and 56 saves.
Despite being born and raised in Canada, Quantrill's baseball career took off when he was scouted by teams in the United States. He played college baseball at the University of Wisconsin where he was a standout player, leading the Badgers in strikeouts for three consecutive seasons. After being drafted in the sixth round by the Boston Red Sox, Quantrill worked his way up through the minor league system before making his major league debut in 1992. He would go on to pitch for several other teams, but it was with the Toronto Blue Jays that he enjoyed some of his best seasons, earning an All-Star selection in 2001 and helping the team win the World Series in 1992 and 1993.
After retiring from baseball in 2005, Quantrill took some time away from the game before returning as a coach. He has held coaching positions for several teams, including the Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Quantrill has also remained dedicated to giving back to his community, founding the Paul Quantrill Baseball Camps in Ontario, which aim to teach young players the fundamentals of the game and help them cultivate a love for baseball.
