Paul Richards Autograph

Paul Richards was an American baseball catcher, manager, and executive, born on November 21, 1908. He was an excellent baseball player with a passion for the game since childhood, starting his career as a catcher for the New York Giants. During the 1930s, Richards played for several minor league teams until he got his big break in 1935 when he joined the Detroit Tigers, playing for six seasons with the team. Richards' baseball career was briefly interrupted by World War II, during which he served in the United States Army. After the war, he returned to baseball, playing for the Philadelphia Athletics, the Atlanta Crackers, and finally the New York Yankees, where he retired as a player in 1946. More about Paul Richards
