Pedro Strop is a professional baseball player who was born on June 13, 1985, in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic. He is a relief pitcher for the Major League Baseball (MLB) team Cincinnati Reds. Strop started his baseball career with the Texas Rangers and was later traded to Baltimore Orioles. His record as a pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles was quite impressive, as he was able to earn a 23-15 record from 2011 to 2013.
In 2013, Strop was traded to the Chicago Cubs, where he continued to thrive. In the 2016 World Series against the Cleveland Indians, Strop was an essential player, helping the Cubs win their first World Series in 108 years. He spent six seasons with the Cubs before being traded to the Cincinnati Reds in 2019.
