Rafael Dolis is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Toronto Blue Jays in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on January 10th, 1988, in La Romana, Dominican Republic. Dolis began his baseball career in 2004 when he was signed by the Chicago Cubs as an international free agent. After six years in the Cubs' farm system, he made his MLB debut in 2011, starting a career that has taken him to four different teams so far.
Dolis's time with the Cubs was marked by several highs and lows. He made his debut on April 5th, 2011, pitching 2.1 innings of scoreless relief against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
