Randal Grichuk is a professional baseball player who was born on August 13, 1991, in Rosenberg, Texas but he grew up in the suburbs of Houston. As a child, Grichuk took a deep interest in baseball and often spent hours practicing his batting and fielding skills. He attended Lamar Consolidated High School in Rosenberg, where he excelled as an athlete in both baseball and football. Grichuk made his debut for the Angels in 2014, where he played 53 games over two seasons, but he was eventually traded to the St. Louis Cardinals in 2015. He became a reliable hitter for the Cardinals, earning a starting position in the outfield and hitting 22 home runs in 2016. Grichuk played for the Cardinals for four seasons before being traded to the Toronto Blue Jays in 2018. With the Blue Jays, Grichuk has continued to impress, hitting 31 home runs in 2019 and 12 in the shortened 2020 season.
