Randy Dobnak Autographs
Randy Dobnak is a professional baseball player for the Minnesota Twins, playing as a starting pitcher. He was born on January 17, 1995, in South Park, Pennsylvania, and attended Alderson Broaddus University, where he played baseball for the Battlers. Dobnak went undrafted during the 2017 MLB draft, but he did not let that stop his aspirations of becoming a major league player.
He started his baseball career playing in the United Shore Professional Baseball League, where he was discovered by the Twins scouting team. In August 2017, he signed a contract with the Twins and was assigned to rookie ball in Elizabethton. He worked his way up through the Twins' farm system, playing for the Cedar Rapids Kernels, Fort Myers Miracle, and Pensacola Blue Wahoos. In 2019, Dobnak was called up to the major leagues and quickly made an impact by pitching in 10 games, with an ERA of 1.59. In 2020, he emerged as a star player with a 6-4 record and an ERA of 4.05.
Dobnak is not a typical baseball player, as he was also a ride-hailing driver for Uber and Lyft before his career took off. He is known for his unconventional style and approach to pitching, which includes a unique windup that he developed to perfect his control. Dobnak's hard work and determination have paid off, and he continues to lead the Twins on the mound with his impressive skills and dedication to the game.
